Since 1993, the goal of our summer camps is to engage the Mariners Church congregation through volunteer service to help provide a weekend camping experience for Orange County at-risk youth who live in foster care, on the edge of poverty or the inner-cities. We strive to create positive memories through challenging activities and healthy relationships, to overcome fears and grow a personal relationship with God with the knowledge they are loved by Christ.

No single experience can erase the scars left by a childhood of poverty or abuse. But summer camp can bring kids healing and hope in a unique, life-changing way. Camps are memorable, fun and challenging. For a week, or even a weekend, kids have a safe place where they feel loved and cherished by caring volunteers. The memories they take with them are the seeds of hope that will encourage them to seek Christ when life is hard. And it is in Christ that true healing can be found. Currently, we host three summer resident camps, reaching more than 150 at-risk children and teens. Over 150 dedicated volunteers make camp a reality for these children each summer.
