Suggested items to bring to campsuitcase


3 changes of clothing including:

  • 1 sweater, sweatshirt, jacket
  • 1 pair sneakers or closed-toe shoes with good tread/traction
  • 1 pair thong sandals for pool/shower
  • Long shorts
  • Socks
  • Underwear
  • Long pants
  • T-shirts
  • Bathing suit (1 piece for females or a dark shirt must be worn over a 2 piece)
  • 1 beach towel
  • CLOSED TOED SHOES Every camper must have at least one pair of tennis type shoes.  They are not allowed to ware sandles at camp.

Sleeping Items:

  • 1 sleeping bag, or sheets & blanket
  • 1 pillow
  • 1 or more pairs of pajamas
  • 1 bath towel & washcloth

Personal Items:

  • Shampoo
  • Toothbrush
  • Chapstick
  • Sunscreen
  • Toothpaste
  • Brush or comb
  • Chapstick, sunscreen

Additional and optional items:

  • Medications:  If your camper requires medication, either prescription or over the counter, you MUST bring the medication in its original pharmacy container with instructions clearly printed on it.  At Registration on Friday morning, the Camp Nurse will collect and label ALL medication.
  • Flashlight

We suggest your camper bring all belongings in a "duffel" or sports bag.  Also, if your sleeping bag does not have a cover, please put it in a heavy duty trash bag.


PLEASE  LABEL  ALL  BELONGINGS (INCLUDING LUGGAGE) WITH THE CAMPER'S NAME IN PERMANENT INK.


Registrations Starts at 8am SHARP!

Please do not be late.

  • Cell Phones (Not needed and no reception)
  • CD Players/MP3 Players (Ipods)
  • Cameras
  • Toy Guns  / Weapons
  • Money (There will not be an opportunity to purchase anything at camp)
  • Sharp Objects (scissors, knives, etc.)

From the 405 South

take the 73 fwy south to the MacArthur offramp. Proceed on MacArthur to Bonita Canyon/Ford Road and turn left. Follow Bonita Canyon under the 73 fwy/Toll Road and past Newport Coast Drive. Mariners Church is on the right, with the first entrance (West Entrance) the best access to the Community Center and the second entrance (Main Entrance) for the Life Development Building, worship center, youth buildings and the Global Cafe and bookstore. Significant construction along Bonita Canyon often delay traffic and block one of the entrances. There is no access from Newport Coast Drive.

From the 405 North
take the Culver offramp and go south (left). Proceed past University Driveand Campus Drive and follow Culver as it turns into Bonita Canyon Drive at Campus Drive. Mariners Church will be on your left. with the first entrance (Main Entrance) the best accessLife Development Building, worship center, youth buildings and the Global Cafe and bookstore and the second entrance (West Entrance) for the Community Center. Significant construction along Bonita Canyon often delay traffic and block one of the entrances. There is no access from Newport Coast Drive.
